From October 24, 2025 to May 3, 2026, the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome will host one of the most anticipated exhibitions of the year: Treasures of the Pharaohs, an extraordinary journey through ancient Egypt featuring over 130 masterpieces from the most prestigious Egyptian museums.
Curated by Dr. Tarek El Awady, the exhibition explores the fascinating world of the pharaohs through six thematic sections dedicated to royal power, spirituality, the rituals of the afterlife, and recent archaeological discoveries. Among the highlights are the Triad of Menkaure, the gold sarcophagi of Queen Ahhotep and Pharaoh Psusennes I, the funerary mask of Amenemope, and exquisite royal jewelry.
A special focus is dedicated to the Golden City, recently unearthed during excavations linked to the reign of Amenhotep III and Akhenaten, offering a unique insight into the daily life and craftsmanship of ancient Egyptian artisans.
The exhibition, the result of a prestigious collaboration between Italy and Egypt, celebrates cultural diplomacy and includes guided tours, workshops, and lectures designed to make the experience accessible and engaging for visitors of all ages.
